Game types
Deathmatch: A classic every-man-for-himself player vs. player combat. The objective is to finish the map with the most kills, or frags.
Team Deathmatch: Teams compete together to out-frag the opponent team.
Capture the Flag: Classic Capture the Flag. Players compete to capture the other team's flag and return it to their base. Competitive teams must use a great deal of teamplay. Both teams must defend the base from incoming attackers and get into the other team's base, take their flag and return to base. This requires that the team protect their flag carrier very well from enemies in order to complete their objective.
Domination: Teams compete to control various control points to earn points and win the map. Standard maps contain three control points. Control of these points can be accomplished either through occupation (physically occupying the space) or from a distance.
Last Man Standing: Similar to Deathmatch, the objective here is to remain alive longer than your opponents, putting an emphasis on number of deaths rather than kills. Players have a set number of lives and once they run out of lives they lose and have to wait as spectators till match end.
Assault: This game type is played with two opposing teams, one assaulting a "base" and the other defending it. The map is set up with a number of objectives which the attacking team must complete (usually in sequence) such as destroying something, entering an area, triggering a button, et cetera. The team who first attacks then defends, and attempts to defend for the entire time they attacked. If they can accomplish this, they win the map. If the team defending first assaults the base faster than the other team, they win the map. If both teams defend for the maximum amount of time the map is a tie.

South Park Rally is the third South Park-licensed game, and it's terrible, just like the first two. It's a simplistic racing game that successfully captures the look and style of the show, but its gameplay is so flawed and so unenjoyable that the end result actually seems like a practical joke at the buyer's expense.
South Park Rally looks and sounds deceptively good. Beware: If you didn't know any better, you might think the quality of the graphics, and how well they capture the cardboard-cutout look of the television show, are suggestive of the overall quality of the game. You'll instantly recognize all the various characters in South Park Rally if you've seen them in the show before; their simple forms and clean, flat colors come across perfect, and their faces animate just as expressively as they do on TV. Each character drives his own unique little vehicle, from Chef's wood-paneled station wagon to Officer Barbrady's cop car, often complete with a personalized license plate. The tracks in the game also look quite good; they're holiday-themed, and look just like sets from the show.
Then again, it's not like South Park is best known for the high quality of its visual style; as such, the best that can be said for South Park Rally's presentation is that it looks like the show. By any other standards, the game's simple 3D shapes and flat lighting effects would be merely average. In addition, although South Park Rally does feature original dialogue by the South Park cast, there isn't nearly enough variety to the sound effects, and they're poorly sampled on top of that. For example, the game's announcer speaks far too loudly compared with the other characters, and some of the other speech in South Park Rally is incomprehensibly muffled. The game's twangy and dissonant soundtrack is reminiscent of the show's signature title track, and it'll grate on your nerves as you keep listening to it over and over, unless the other elements of the game get to you first.
It wouldn't seem as necessary to point out the relatively minor problems with South Park Rally's graphics and sound if the game actually played well. However, it plays so terribly that its other problems end up standing out even more. South Park Rally is supposed to be a fun and simple racing game just like so many other go-kart-racing games out there. Just like so many other kart-racing games, South Park Rally lets you drive around or across a circuit while picking up power-ups that are designed to sway the race in your favor. The power-ups include rats, Cheesy Poofs, and more. However, most of the power-ups are utterly worthless aside from their comic value; some work like landmines, which you must drop blindly, as you have no rearview mirror, let alone any onscreen indication that a rival car is coming up from behind. Some of the other power-ups are much too inaccurate to be of any real use.
But the real problem lies with your computer opponents, who recover from your attacks easily and carry on around the track with unstoppable resolve; yet if you're on the receiving end of one of their weapons, you may as well start over because you're never going to catch up. In addition, the game's open-ended track design means that you can easily get stuck or lost, and if you lose so much as a second of time, you've lost the race. South Park Rally is entirely unforgiving - you need perfect driving skills and a lot of luck to finish first, and unless you finish first you can't advance to the next stage. The game's driving mechanics are grossly simplistic - all you do is press a button to powerslide around corners - and the game's sprawling track design, which features hidden shortcuts and items that you don't actually have any time to find, is completely irritating.
Maybe all the glaring problems and misguided design decisions in South Park Rally are deliberate; it's difficult to explain or justify its lack of a difficulty setting and a save-game feature otherwise. South Park Rally isn't necessarily impossible to win, but it seems intentionally designed to be impossible to tolerate for very long. There's no point playing it against the computer since you'll keep losing, yet you have no option to save and a limited option to continue. And there's no point playing it against your friends, thanks to the bad track design and ill-conceived power-ups; there's not even a draw in trying all the different characters, since all of them control exactly the same. Maybe South Park Rally is a self-conscious work of comedic genius that we'll praise one day for its blatant defiance of every convention, much like the irreverent show that inspired it. Or maybe not; it's more likely that South Park Rally is actually nothing more than a blatant attempt to quickly and greedily cash in on a still-successful but waning franchise. It's an utterly terrible game and Acclaim's third strike with the South Park license.

Need for Speed: Underground (NFSU) is a racing game, developed and published by Electronic Arts in 2003. It is part of the Need for Speed computer and video game series. It was developed by EA Black Box. Its premise (highly tuned, customised cars participating in illegal street races) was likely inspired by the Import Scene and the movies The Fast and the Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious.
A complete reimagining of the series' formula, NFSU offered a career mode featuring a storyline, and a garage mode that allowed players to fully customize their cars with a large variety of brand-name performance and visual upgrades. All races take place in a city at night. The city appears to be in a somewhat New York City style type city. Instead of hundred-thousand dollar exotics, Underground featured vehicles associated with the Import Scene. This, plus the increasingly arcade-like controls, became points of controversy for Need for Speed fans. Despite this, Underground was commercially very successful, and inspired a sequel.
It is rumoured that the car manufacturers were very strict in how their vehicles were to be portrayed in this game, especially considering the "illegal street racing" reputation of the tuner culture. EA took some effort in making the races appear as sanctioned racing events, and included a public service announcement in the game's introduction. In addition, vehicles do not have damage models.
Plot
The player is in a modified Acura Integra Type R racing three other modified cars. After winning the racer, Samantha tells the player about Eddie, who is the best racer around the city with his Skyline . At this monment the player has to choose one of six tuner cars. After choosing a car the player sees Melissa,who is standing right beside Eddie. Samantha explains the simple rules of the Underground, 'You win races, you get cool parts. You lose, and you're out'. After winning a few races, the player gets introduced to TJ who tells him if he beats a time trial, he will give the player a reward.
Game Modes
Circuit
Circuit is a standard race that involves racing with up to four opponents cars around a loop track for two laps or more, and is the main mode of the game.
Knockout Mode
A variant of Circuit, Knockout Mode is similar to previous Need for Speed titles, involves "knocking out" the last racer who passes the starting line in each lap until the final leader of the race remains, and wins the race. In the case of Underground, Knockout sessions have a maximum of three laps for four racers.
Sprint Mode
Sprint mode is a variation on the Circuit mode, where the contestants race in a point-to-point track instead of loop tracks. These races are typically shorter than "circuits" (with a maximum of 8 km in length), so players are required to be more cautious of any mistakes during racing.
Drift
Drifting is one of the most challenging and technical aspects of the game. Drift mode consists of one player in a short loop track, where the objective is to collect as many points as possible by drifting along the track. The player competes with three other contestants, who appear to accumulate scores along with the player during the drift session. The player would be required to beat these scores in order to obtain top positions.
Bonuses are awarded for players who drift in the other borders of the track, drift vertically, or perform chained-drifting (continuous drifting by constantly steering the vehicle during drifts to maintain speed); if the player succeeds in ending a drift without collisions onto the sides of the track, the collected points are added into the score, otherwise, the collected points are cancelled.
Drift mode is the only type of racing where time taken to complete the track does not matter, since players are given the freedom to complete the allocated number laps at their own pace. This may explain the absence of nitrous oxide in this mode, since it serves no suitable purpose in this situation.
Drag
Drag racing is the second most technical form of race in the game. It involves racing against one or three cars on typically straight tracks, and attempting to obtain top positions to win. In order to master Drag mode, players must employ good timing and reflexes for gear shifting, redlining, overtaking, and the use of nitrous oxide boosts; the mode places particular emphasis in monitoring the tachometer during races, which is enlarged and situated on the leftmost portion of the screen. Steering in this mode is simplified to simply allow for lane changes, while the computer handles the steering along the lanes, and the player focuses more on maintaining an optimum speed for the car.
Two conditions will result to players being forfeited during a drag race: head-on collisions with a vehicle (traffic or opponent), barrier or divider>; or blown engines as a result from prolonged redlining and the subsequent overheating of the engine.
